Hi, I’m Isabella Mancini.
I’m a Marine Corps photographer, videographer, and radio broadcaster for American Forces Network in Iwakuni, Japan. I’ve been living in Japan for almost three years, but I’m originally from Phoenix, Arizona.
For over a decade I’ve been telling stories through photography. Three years ago, I expanded into videography, where I’ve been developing my style ever since. My goal is always the same: to create content that feels alive
As a broadcaster for AFN I’ve hosted thousands of hours of live radio shows, conducted numerous live interviews and produced engaging commercials on the daily. As a reporter I’ve been to multiple countries including flight operations in South Korea and humanitarian aid in Thailand to produce multimedia stories that highlight the people involved and the important roles they played. This has strengthened my ability to communicate, adapt, and craft high quality narratives across multiple platforms with a fast turn-around time.
Outside the office, you’ll find me riding my Kawasaki ZX25R through Japan’s mountain roads, drifting at Hadashi Tengoku, and capturing photos of Japan’s beautiful shrines. These experiences continually fuel my creativity.
